Thank you Samorin, it was a lot of fun!

The girls and their horses were on fire the whole weekend! They were able to bring home great achievements and had a lot of fun!

On Wednesday, the 23rd of August the EWOT Academy drove to Slovakia to the Olympic Training Facility in Samorin.

The equestrian facility the X Bionic Equestor Sphere leaves no wish unfulfilled! Riders as well as family and friends will find everything their heart desires. Starting with the large riding arenas, the swimming pools, volleyball courts and restaurants, which are located directly on site. There is almost nothing that is not there.

On day one we always arrive, unload the equipment and take care of our horses. With ten horses in the truck that`s quite a task. From Thursday to Sunday the competitions we had sheduled competitions every day. After a mostly very early breakfast the first students had to inspect the course and tack up the horses. Then it was time to warm up for competition.

As a beginner, riding under tournament conditions while being nervous isn’t always that easy! But with a great team by your side anything is possible! The first courses were completed on Thursday. Jolanda Von Stauss and her Lola took the podium right at the beginning and achieved two more top placings on day two and three. Helene Eisl and Galino were also unbeatable this weekend, winning all three of their competitions. Also, Alexa Ward and Luna had no desire for boring rounds either: the two power girls literally dashed over the obstacles and secured themselves the second place on Friday. Lara Brauner and our reliable Lance were able to secure a third and fifth place on Friday and Sunday. Anastasiia Moskalenko and Sofia Abramovich did not let the hot temperatures stop them and competed on four days. Sofia prevailed in a large starting field and was able to secure a seventh place with her Dancing Gray, out of over 100 starters. Due to back problems, Emma Losmann was unfortunately only able to compete on the first day of the tournament and did a great job too!

Sally also brought three horses to the start, including our young, charming Zangersheide gelding Ukas Z and two stallions that are currently in training. With a lot of good courses we were very pleased.

After four days full of competitions, nice evenings, and all-around happy faces we went back home Sunday afternoon.
