Great Horse Riding Tournament at the Winter Master Series in Samorin

Wednesday morning, the 22nd of February we left for Samorin, Slovakia.

With five horses and highly motivated students in the horse truck, an almost perfect tournament weekend started with a lot of fun, fantastic impressions and great results.

The impressive X-Bionic Sphere facility offers training facilities for around 30 Olympic disciplines, so you can imagine how extensive the grounds are. The X-Bionic Equestor Sphere also leaves nothing to be desired. Large riding halls, huge outdoor arenas, beautiful stables, a large gallop track and adequate boxes await the participants of the winter and summer tours. Our girls were amazed and covered well over 20,000 steps a day.

Falling tired into bed in the evening was thus guaranteed.

Wednesday was the day to arrive, take care of the horses and train them.

Thursday morning the first competitions started. Saphira Bösch and her Lordane were able to start the new 2023 tournament season right away with a sovereign round.

Friday also saw the start for Ainslee Walker, Sofia Abramovich, Anastasiia Moskalenko and Jolanda Von Stauss. All of the girls showed great rounds and even managed placements in the top 10 with a couple of finishes in a very large and challenging field of competitors.

The students of EWOT Academy have learned a lot during the tournament in Samorin, have developed with big steps and went back home with a big smile on their faces.
